What's your pitch?

We’ve all been there.

You’re at a weekend BBQ, drink in hand, catching up with friends you haven’t seen in a while.

Then comes the dreaded question: “So, what is it you actually do now?”

In previous roles, I had a polished pitch ready to go. But stepping out on my own with DP3 Consulting meant finding a fresh, authentic answer—one that explains the mission succinctly, without boring anyone before the burgers are ready!

After some reflection, I’ve landed on how I describe what we do.

When teams struggle to navigate growth or change, standard consultancy often leaves you with a thick slide deck and no real progress.

At DP3 Consulting, I take a much more personal, hands-on approach. I work directly alongside founders, directors, and emerging managers, focusing on three core pillars:

Leadership Development – Unlocking real potential and building practical confidence.

Operational Troubleshooting – Rapid, calm intervention when work feels stuck and delivery stalls.

Tailored Mentoring – A trusted space for leaders to test ideas, reflect, and grow.

I bring senior commercial experience and a practical perspective to help teams steady the ship, regain momentum, and deliver results.

No corporate jargon. Just calm, expert support when it matters most.

How do you answer the "What do you do?" question when you're off the clock? Do you stick to a formal title, or do you have a go-to story?
